For more than 20 years, Fundación La Brecha has supported vulnerable men by providing a safe space where they can overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and regain their dignity.
Following the recent double earthquake that struck La Guaira, the Visión Rescate facility in Naiguatá suffered severe damage, leaving it unusable for continued operations. More than 100 beneficiaries were affected by the loss of the spaces where they received care, training, and comprehensive support.
In response, part of the community was relocated to a property in Carayaca, where a new opportunity has emerged: to build a new facility that will allow this life-changing mission to continue.
Our First Goal: $50,000
The funds raised will help launch the first phase of the project, focused on:
- Establishing temporary and permanent housing areas.
- Restoring essential water and electricity services.
- Creating spaces for counseling, training, and rehabilitation.
- Developing productive areas that contribute to the long-term sustainability of the center.
Rebuilding with Purpose
This project is supported by trusted partners, including Unidos en Red, Unidos 2 Give, and Venezuela Sin Límites. In addition, many of the beneficiaries themselves will participate in the construction efforts as part of their rehabilitation, skills training, and personal recovery process.
We are not simply rebuilding infrastructure. We are building a new home where more people can find hope, support, and a second chance.
